This is a fine 27" long bladed British Naval Cutlass clearly stamped by the black steel bowl hand guard: WILKINSON, LONDON Measuring 33" in overall length, this straight bladed sword was the type that hung without scabbard in a rack on deck for easy access in the event the Seamen were required to REPEL BORDERS! Blade also stamped with proof marks, broad arrow and 11 01 (November, 1901) being the date of issue. Hard
