Establishing this jacket's affiliation with the 381st was only made stronger by locating an original photo of the B-17 "Touch the Button Nell II" in the National Air and Space Museum archives which was marked to indicate it was in fact a ship from the 381st bomb group

The blade is profusely engraved in both sides to within 2" of the point featuring masses of foliage and stands of arms including the Royal Georgian Cypher
