and the mounting points for the frizzen and frizzen spring can still be seen

It was also discovered that the badge placed on the front of helmets impaired the strength of the helmet because of the two slots required

however the frame and the cylinder especially still have much of the blued finish

probably having been used by the owner during the war after they "graduated"
