This is a fantastic example of what have become one of the most contested pieces of WWII field gear, the AAF Flak Goggles. These were said to have been used by air crews, but certainly saw service with tank crews as well, paired with the M3 Flak Helmet. The goggles retain the majority of their paint as well as the stitching that connects the padding to the goggles. The original elastic strap is retained but has lost
