Original British WWII Vickers MMG Crank Mk IA Martini-Henry Rifles Each of our M-1905/1910 MaximOriginal Item: In the Vickers gun, the crank is one of the key operating parts, in that it embodies the Hiram Maxims knuckle concept for locking the breech. Together with the connecting rod, the crank locks the breech closed at the moment of firing. As the internal parts recoil, cams break the knuckle like a hinge, allowing extraction and ejection.
