Original Rare British Officer Sword, Circa 1770-1795 Royal Air Force all show minor storage wearOriginal One of a kind Item: This is a really interesting British Military Sword for a Junior Officer, Lieutenant or Captain of the pre 1796 pattern issue. Single edged straight blade 27 inches in length (not a tall man), and 33 inches in overall length. Sword tip has been rounded so was somewhat longer originally and was shortened to keep it in service. Blade is well marked on both sides with a Crown over G. R. over JEF RIS, (abbreviation for the
