Original WWI Austro-Hungarian M17 Medic Steel Helmet with Partial Liner - Size 66 British Helmets It was his use ofOriginal Item: Genuine WWI Austro Hungarian Model 1917 helmet with an original field medic paint scheme. The helmet originally was painted with the standard Olive Green Brown "Isonzo braun" paint, which is still present on the interior. The helmet is missing part of the liner and chinstrap as shown, but the steel helmet band is still present, retained by the correct 3 split pins, with the rear one being more substantial. The paint is so thick that
