Notes of petrol

and much more masculine

Musky aromas of mocha

As it did from cask the nose is partially compromised by the presence of noticeable reduction so be sure to decant this

It will be at its best from 2013 to 2027

Camille Giroud, Clos Vougeot other_regions_italy Notes of petrol(from Petit Maupertui). There is enough reduction to dominate the fruit though it clearly seems ripe. Otherwise there is first rate volume, punch and mid palate density to the muscular flavors that are also quite firmly structured but even so there is less youthful austerity than is typical for Clos de Vougeot. Still, this is definitely going to require at least moderate patience and like the Chambertin, this is excellent as well. (92 95) 2030+
