Description

mid-priced red from Tenuta San Guido

The 2013 Amarone della Valpolicella Monte Lodoletta is my favorite wine in the retrospective

leaving a note of spicecake behind

The elegant

As is usually the case this is notably more elegant than the straight Chablis with its nose of pretty citrus

Marquis Alesme Size:12x750ml mid-priced red from Tenuta SanLight, herbal nose. Chewy tannins after a very mellifluous palate. Thick and dense and sturdy. A safe bet if not too expensive, but never top rank.
