Tuhoe Maori Korowai Kahu Huruhuru NZ Sheepskin Rugs & Bed Underlays They are made from ACMThis korowai reflects the colours of the Te Mana Motuhake o Tuhoe flag, with its colours of Black, Red, White and Green. The Tuhoe rohe is a large rugged and remote area in the central North Island. The North Island is Maui's fish, and Tuhoe country is the heart of the fish. This Maori feather cloak is made by a lovely Maori lady of Ngati Porou descent. She was shown the method of making the korowai by a Northland kuia, and she blesses each korowai
