Death’s Head Hawk Moth botanical gift A rich brown butterfly wingAcherontia atropos, the deaths head hawkmoth, is native to southern Europe and much of Africa and is famous for the skull like marking on its thorax. Despite its dark folklore, this species is harmless and only a minor agricultural pest. This striking specimen is beautifully preserved in a 5"x5" frame, making it a captivating piece for collectors of natural history and gothic curiosities. *Each of my framed shadow boxes are crafted for lasting beauty
