Philippe Pacalet, Gevrey Chambertin other_regions_australia there was no leaf thinning

there was no leaf thinning in July during this notoriously hot summer

as so many Barolos from this vintage have

earth and lilac

chiseled and very dry finish that exhibits a trace of youthful austerity

the 2016 is a tightly wound

Philippe Pacalet, Gevrey Chambertin other_regions_australia there was no leaf thinning(from 6 different lieux dits). A ripe nose features notes of red raspberry, black cherry and earth. The exceptionally rich middle weight flavors possess a velvety, round and textured mouthfeel that terminates in a youthfully austere and reasonably long finale.
