U.S.N. JACKETS HERRINGBONE TWILL Colour:150 OLIVE Aircrew and paratroopers often workedThe U. S. N. JACKET HERRINGBONE TWILL is based on a late Second World War Navy utility uniform pattern. It was issued primarily to sailors on shore based assignments and to the Naval Construction Battalions, known as the Seabees. Unlike deck garments intended for shipboard service, this jacket was designed for land based work and field conditions. Its appearance closely resembles the U. S. Army herringbone twill jacket produced under specification PQD
