Artisan Handmade Celadon Ceramic Elephant Mug from Thailand - Celadon Parade New Bohemian Handbags The Artisan Blown Glass CollectionCeladon style glaze creates a natural crackling effect on this handmade mug from Duangkamol. A pottery technique that goes back two millennia, the distinctive color of celadon was prized for its similarity to the color of jade and highly valued in East and Southeast Asia. Iron in the clay reacts to the heat of firing to create the blue green hues. A parade of elephants marches around the center of the mug, rendered in beautiful detail. Ceramic 0. 41
