A classic Charmes that is generous but exceptionally fine
Here too there is a lovely sense of energy and punch to the muscular but not really rustic broad-shouldered flavors that also possess very good if not sensational mid-palate concentration before culminating in a balanced and palate coating finish
middle weight flavors possess a succulent palate impression that is heightened by the abundant level of dry extract that also serves to buffer the even firmer
This was also relatively reduced and impossible to evaluate
with a core of warm plum and black cherry preserve flavors
Philippe Pacalet, Corton Bressandes other_regions A classic Charmes that isThis is the first wine to display any material amount of reduction and here its enough to overshadow the fruit. Otherwise there is fine freshness to the big bodied and muscular flavors that are at once rich and quite serious, all wrapped in an austere if long finish. This needs to develop more depth but the underlying material appears to be such that it should in time. (90 93) 2029+
