Sylvain Pataille, Marsannay Grasses Tetes Size:6x750ml the 2018 Ontogeny Proprietary Red

the 2018 Ontogeny Proprietary Red Wine comes barreling out of the glass with intensely fruity notes of crème de cassis

fig jam and light lemongrass scents that is pure Barsac joy

Once again this is not especially complex but the underlying material appears to have slightly more stuffing and thus more depth is more likely to develop

Very impressive

even with time in bottle

Sylvain Pataille, Marsannay Grasses Tetes Size:6x750ml the 2018 Ontogeny Proprietary Red(one barrel made; 100% whole clusters). A super floral nose displays a hint of green tea on the discreetly spicy aromas of essence of various red berries along with a hint of cool earth. The round, delicious and seductively textured medium bodied flavors possess a certain taut muscularity that adds a touch of firmness to the clean, dry and well balanced finale that exhibits sneaky good length. This is very good and if you can find it, dont hesitate.
