The vibrant structure gives way to the dense
the 2005 turns more delicate with time in the glass as its silkier and floral qualities become more evident
full and intense flavors brimming with power and muscle yet this by no means lacks for grace or elegance on the reserved but driving finish
dusty and austere finale
the palate is beautifully nuanced and poised
Roulot, Meursault Vireuils Blanc Vintage:2020 The vibrant structure gives wayThis is aromatically similar if a bit more elegant and certainly more complex and with a touch more floral character as well. There is excellent energy to the detailed and ultra precise flavors that seemed to be extracted directly from liquid stone. I very much like the sense of proportion and balance here plus the overall quality is stunning for a villages level wine. This too is very much worth considering. 90 2017+
