delicious and vibrant medium weight flavors exude evident minerality on the clean
All of the Pacenti signatures are in place
concentrated yet impressively refined wine with plenty of inner mouth perfume as well as an abundance of palate coating old vine sap that serves to cushion the still quite firm tannic spine on the strikingly persistent finish
which makes it almost shockingly easy to enjoy even now (in relative terms)
that raises this wine to the next level
Christian Moueix, Ulysses Size:6x750ml delicious and vibrant medium weightOakville fruit but Napa Valley on the label. Fresh picked berries and bramble on the nose become focused and spiced on the palate. Nice herbal and earth notes with rocky minerality across the full length of the palate. The open fruit expression of the nose creates the expectation of a bigger wine to follow but it is classical with good restraint and an impressive sense of precision in the mouth. Beautifully done.
