This is a class act
Giving up fabulous black raspberry
This is much more mineral-driven than any of the prior wines with its beautifully detailed medium weight flavors that also possess focused power on the saline
Strong and sappy
(40+ year old vines)
Jean-Jacques Confuron, Nuits Saint Georges Chaboeufs Size:6x750ml This is a class actThere are suggestions of warm earth and herbal tea on the lightly spiced dark currant scented nose. There is fine richness if a bit less concentration to the supple, round and agreeably rich medium bodied flavors that offer good verve if only average density on the balanced and lingering finish. This should benefit from a few years of cellaring to develop a bit more depth.
