hazelnut and acacia blossom

but I still find it a bit light

intensity and focused power on the refined

it floods the mouth with dark

exotic spices

Barroche, Chateauneuf Du Pape Fiancee other_regions_italy hazelnut and acacia blossomHarvest before the rains and hitting a whopping 16. 2% alcohol, the 2006 Chateauneuf du Pape Fiancee (an equal split of Grenache and Syrah) certainly has a modern flair, but is nevertheless a smoking effort that's loaded with notions of cassis, blackberry, truffle, olive tapenade and pepper. Big, voluptuous, concentrated and full bodied, it's still young and unevolved, and will have more than two decades of overall longevity.
