Trane VAL9891 TXV 318518-761 making external vibration isolation high-priorityThe Trane VAL09891 is a 3 ton thermostatic expansion valve engineered specifically for R 22 refrigerant systems. This TXV features a non adjustable, balanced port design that ensures precise superheat control across varying head pressures, preventing evaporator floodback and protecting reciprocating or scroll compressors. It utilizes a mechanical pressure sensing mechanism with an external equalizer to compensate for pressure drops across the coil.
