intensely saline finish

The 2018 Pavie was picked from 1 to 10 October

Still lots to chew on

Discreet wood frames very fresh and distinctly earthy cool wild red berry fruit that marries into rich and beautifully textured middle weight flavors that possess both good energy and an attractive sense of minerality on the balanced finish

Frederic Magnien, Charmes Chambertin Mazoyeres Size:12x750ml intensely saline finishA markedly ripe nose is comprised by red berry fruit, sauvage and violet notes with subtle undertones of underbrush, mocha and Gevrey style earth. The delicious, complex and suave medium full flavors possess solid concentration and a velvety, naturally sweet and mouth coating finish that displays evident warmth. This may be too ripe for some which would be the case for me. 89 2023+
