Patience strongly advised
The mouth feel of the silky and refined middle weight flavors is notably finer and I very much like the vibrancy that continues onto the balanced and lingering finish
Very unusual nose – almost smells of caramel
Only once you get past those dehydrated
spice and a whiff of lavender
Ghislaine Barthod, Chambolle Musigny Baudes Size:6x750ml Patience strongly advised(from a . 23 ha parcel of 45+ year old vines). This is one of the ripest wines in the range yet it somehow manages to remain fresh with its violet, dark cherry and plum liqueur like aromas. The mouth feel of the middle weight plus flavors is bold and powerful with plenty of mid palate concentration and muscle that is enhanced by the firm tannins and huge length. This is a classic Baudes of power and punch if not necessarily refinement. (90 93) 2025+
