Spinetta, Barolo Campe Vintage:2016 very long and balanced finale

very long and balanced finale as the only nit is a hint of warmth

This should age well yet the richness of the material will permit it to drink well young too

An energetic red

the tannins are refined and fine-grained

Give it 3-5 more years in bottle and drink it over the next twenty-five

Spinetta, Barolo Campe Vintage:2016 very long and balanced finale2000 La Spinetta Barolo Campe shows an inky dark color. With a nose of over ripe, jammy blueberry, blackberry, wood and raisin. Big, fat and concentrated, the wine shows a little heat along with dry tannins in the opulent, ripe, black cherry flavored finish. I wasn't a fan of Barolo before tasting this wine. This bottle, which is atypical for Barolo did not change my mind.
