Bitouzet Prieur, Volnay Aussy other_regions cool and airy nose presents

cool and airy nose presents an array of various dark berries and floral elements

Interestingly this is bigger and more powerful than the La Vigne au Saint but it’s not necessarily more structured

Very dense and velvety in texture

spice and licorice add the final shades of nuance

with notes of spices and peat moss that reminded me of a Côte de Nuits wine

Bitouzet Prieur, Volnay Aussy other_regions cool and airy nose presentsA slightly more elegant and somewhat higher toned nose of the essence of red cherry isn't quite as spicy but is even more layered. The refined and almost delicate flavors don't lack for punch and particularly so on the stony and bitter pit fruit suffused finish. Note that this is sufficiently compact that it's going to need at least five years first. Worth considering.
