This stylish effort is very Puligny in character and well-worth checking out

This is also very clearly built-to-age and I wouldn’t dream of touching a bottle for at least 10 years and it should easily reward 20

sandalwood and a lovely blend of floral scents

Etienne Sauzet, Puligny Montrachet Hameau Blagny Vintage:2022 The Falstaff is a wine(from 60+ year old vines). A slightly riper nose reflects aromas of white peach, citrus confit and a pretty array of floral elements. The round and fleshy but agreeably punchy medium bodied flavors also possess a gorgeous mouthfeel thanks to the abundant dry extract that completely buffers the moderately firm citrus tinged acid spine shaping the sneaky long finale. This isnt quite as tautly wound but it should still repay up to a decade of keeping.
